Alliance is recruiting a Manager of Information Centre for Studies in France

General context

Alliance Française of Banjul wishes to increase the number of Gambian students in France. In order to do so, it is creating an orientation and information centre for studies in France and is recruiting a manager.

Summary definition of the job

• To run a reception and information area on higher education in France,
• Advice, guidance and support Gambian students applying to study in France,
• Promotion of French higher education in The Gambia,
• Setting up a contact file of Campus France partners in The Gambia: universities and schools,
• Creation, feeding and animation of an ALUMNI network,
• Coordination of Campus France communication in The Gambia,
• Organisation and management of Campus France events in The Gambia,

Administrative attachment: Alliance française de Banjul.

Operational attachment: Director of Campus France Senegal (training, guidance and support)

Job status

Part-time contract on fixed-term contract

Place of work

Alliance Française de Banjul

Travel to Gambian high schools and universities is expected

Job requirements

Minimum qualification level

• Bachelor’s degree level
• Fluency in English and French

Knowledge of

• Knowledge of the education sector in The Gambia and of the various training courses in France
• Good command of computer tools
• Asset: knowledge of Campus France procedures

Skills

• Ability to synthesis and analyse
• Demonstrate autonomy and reactivity

Personal qualities

• Demonstrate reserve and professional secrecy
• Strong autonomy
