What does it mean to be the black sheep?
In a society that imposes norms, dancer and performer Amadou Diop takes the stage to affirm his uniqueness.

With Black Sheep (Mouton Noir), he delivers a powerful solo performance blending contemporary dance, popping, and breakdance. A piece that is both physical and poetic, where the body becomes a cry, a form of resistance, and a path to liberation.

Through the figure of the outcast, Amadou explores the tension between belonging and exclusion, conformity and freedom. In this committed work, marginality becomes strength, and dance becomes a tool for empowerment.

🎭 This creation is the result of a one-month artistic residency at the Alliance Française de Banjul, where Amadou deepened his choreographic exploration and refined the stage direction.
