Closing of The New Beginning Exhibition

After two weeks of inspiration, emotion and artistic dialogue, the Alliance Française de Banjul invites you to join us for the closing of the exhibition “The New Beginning” by Gambian artist John S. Mendy.

This final gathering will take place on Wednesday, June 18th at 5:00 PM, in the presence of the artist.

Visitors will have one last opportunity to explore the universe of The New Beginning a body of work that reflects on childhood, perception, and transformation. Through a striking mix of hyperrealism and introspective themes, John S. Mendy has brought a unique voice to our gallery space.

This closing evening will also be the occasion to share a drink, exchange impressions, and celebrate the success of this artistic journey. A cocktail will be served to mark the end of this inspiring residency.
