To meet this challenge, she calls upon the architect Numérobis. However, he is aware that the task is immense and almost impossible to complete in the given time.
To help him, Numérobis decides to call upon his Gaulish friends, Astérix and Obélix, as well as their druid Panoramix, who possesses the famous magic potion. The two Gaulish heroes, accompanied by their faithful dog Dogmatix, travel to Egypt to help Numérobis keep his promise.
Once there, they must face numerous obstacles, including the schemes of the rival architect Amonbofis, who seeks to sabotage Numérobis’s project. Astérix and Obélix must also confront Roman soldiers and the dangers of the Egyptian desert.
