Libraries are key cultural sites : highly appreciated by the public for their resources and comfort. In this regard, it is our responsibility to improve the service we offer you. Therefore, we are hosting the “Numérique en Médiathèque” training course this week.
From November 14 to 18, 2023, the trainer, Camille Lefebvre, shared her knowledge in the media library of the Alliance Française de Banjul to media librarians from the Alliances Françaises of Banjul (Gambia), Kaolack and Ziguinchor (Senegal) and the Centre Culturel Franco-Bissau-Guinéen (Guinea-Bissau), who are developing a collaborative network approach.
The Banjul Alliance hosted a week-long training course for 10 media librarians and network colleagues, as part of the Institut Français de Paris’ support program, and with the backing of the French Embassy in Senegal and the Gambia. The course focused on the digital media library, in a context of modernization of reception facilities and services.
It’s the perfect opportunity to develop new ideas for public activities, which we hope you will enjoy!
