The Alliance Française de Banjul is very proud to organize the exhibition of different pictures from the International Women in Photo Association (IWPA) ! IWPA is an international photography competition aiming to promote the work of women photographers, and to work for parity and equality through photography.
The Alliance’s exhibition is composed of 15 beautiful pictures, from 3 different artists :
Eugénie Baccot will be present for the opening exhibition ! She’s been doing an artistic residency at Alliance Française de Banjul for 3 weeks, and she will then be present to talk about the work she produced during her stay in The Gambia. This will also be an occasion to exchange with the public about photography and art !
Moreover, Mrs Baccot trained 6 Gambians motivated by photography. They will as well be at Alliance to present the work they made during the 4 workshops they received.
We hope to see many of you at the opening exhibition !
The exhibition will be in Alliance’s garden until May 31st.
